Organizational Goals

● To implement the first nationwide vision screening program to screen 20 million school age children annually.

● To ensure the early detection and treatment of amblyopia.

● To protect our nation’s schoolchildren from preventable causes of blindness and visual impairment.

● To maximize the educational and psychosocial development of our nation’s schoolchildren.

Program Goals

● To research and distribute innovative vision screening software to provide standardized, automated, charitable vision screenings in school systems throughout the United States.

● To utilize existing school computers and internet infrastructure to minimize costs.

● To coordinate and ensure medical follow-up for children requiring professional vision services based on the results of their school vision screenings.

● To collect data from both the school vision screenings and the professional follow-up examinations and store in centralized data repository with confidentiality safeguards.

● To analyze epidemiological data to provide a scientific basis for public health policy decisions.

● To provide treatment to the disadvantaged community via a medical doctor referral network.

Fundraising Goals

● To engage in strategic partnerships / collaborations with other non-profit organizations, as well as “for profit” entities to solicit foundations, corporations, and private donors.

● To support the three distinctions of Operations / Capacity Building, Scientific Research, and Programs / Services / Education as follows:
